Personally for me, I don't give two hoots about getting the latest MS Office. I'm having trouble installing MS Office 2004 on my new macbook pro. When I click on the setup assistant it says that MS Office is 'not supported' on this platform. When I try the drag-and-drop install method, it tells me it can't access my '.DSStore' and stops copying. I have used the same.
I wanted to install a Windows partition on my Mac so that I could run MS Office 2013 on a virtual machine.
I set up the VM, and everything was looking fine and worked smoothly.
Then, when I inserted the MS Office 2013 disk into the CD drive, nothing happened!
I tried to install MS Office 2013 but to no avail.
